Dawid Jackiewicz already during his studies tied with the Movement for Reconstruction of Poland. For several years he was a member of national authorities of this organization. After completing his studies he engaged in establishing the Law and Justice in Lower Silesia. Nowadays, he is a member of the National Board of this political party and the President of the Law and Justice in Wrocław's constituency. Since 2011 Dawid Jackiewicz sit also in the Political Committee of the Law and Justice - the main establishment of the party. |

He goes into politics professionally. In 2007 he held office the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Treasury.
Since 2005 Dawid Jackiewicz is a deputy to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. In general elections he started from an electoral roll of the Law and Justice. At age 32, Dawid Jackiewicz became one of the youngest people ever elected to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. |

In this (6th) Term of Office of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Dawid Jackiewicz is a vice chairman of the State Treasury Committee.
In previous (5th) Term of Office of the Sejm, Dawid Jackiewicz exercised a function of a vice chairman, and next a chairman, of the Local Self-Government and Regional Policy Committee. He was also a member of the Administration and Internal Affairs Committee. In the years 2003-2005 he held office of the Vice President of Wrocław. He was in charge of the Wrocław Development Office, an architecture, the construction industry, a protection of monuments and historic buildings and also an environmental protection. In the years 2002-2003 Dawid Jackiewicz has served as a Councillor of the Wrocław City Council. |
